Pastor Adcock began his pulpit ministry at the age of 15 near Louisville, MS.  Upon graduation from Jackson College of Ministries, he assisted in a new church plant in Denver, CO for 1 1/2 years.  Following this endeavor, he married the love of his life, Gena Alford, in December of 2000.  After itinerant ministry for 2 years, The Adcock's went on staff of First Pentecostal Church, Vicksburg, MS.  There they served for 8 years under Bishop D.W. Tipton in the capacity of Assistant, Youth Pastor, assisting in Outreach and many other areas.  During their years in Vicksburg, there were 2 sons born to the Adcock family, Braxton and Braylon.

In 2009, after much prayer and soul searching, Pastor and Sister Adcock, along with Bishop D.W. Tipton, felt that it was good to them and the Holy Ghost for them to assume the Pastorate of First Apostolic Church, Grenada, MS.  They are happily in the will of God with no intentions of ever leaving Grenada.  They are happy to be serving God in this capacity.
